Racing League is delighted to confirm Scimitar Sportswear remain as the official apparel partner for the competition, following the success of 2022.

Scimitar, who provide the UK’s largest range of custom recycled sportswear, will provide all elements of Racing League branded apparel for participants for the 2023 competition. Teams of racehorse trainers and jockeys will represent Ireland, Scotland, Yorkshire, The North, The East, Wales and The West and London and The South, with the competition broadcast live by both Sky Sports Racing and ITV Racing.

Sam Carter, Scimitar Sportswear Managing Director, said: “We are proud to work with a number of high-profile organisations and governing bodies, including the likes of British Triathlon, GB Pentathlon and the Great North Run, and we’re excited to work with Racing League again to produce more high-quality apparel and equipment for elite-level athletes.

“Something we continue to be passionate about at Scimitar is sustainability and where possible, we look for recycled and sustainable options for Racing League’s apparel. We are acting on our responsibility as a sportswear brand and aim to be producing all polyester-based sportswear with recycled fabric by 2025.
“While we are predominantly a sportswear brand, our expertise also stretches out to promotional items and merchandise, so we’re looking forward to continue supporting Racing League and its partners in order to help the competition thrive.”

Jeremy Wray, CEO of Racing League, said: “We are delighted to work with Scimitar again, and look forward to seeing their kit and apparel at Great Yarmouth on 27 July. Alongside the high quality of their products, Scimitar continue with a clear vision to increase recycling and sustainability in the sportswear market, which we are delighted to continue to support.

“A key aim of Racing League remains to help build an identity around each of the regional teams taking part and clear and distinct branding of our stars, both in and out of the saddle, will continue to be a big part of that, going forward.”
